Story

Dos Cuerpos was born in 2020 from a simple idea: don't sell a product, share a story. Founded by Cecilia Alcántara, the project grew from years spent between New York and Mexico and a deep curiosity for the people, places, and traditions behind Mexican beverages. Mezcal became the starting point, not as a trend, but as a living expression of Mexican culture, one that deserved to be shared with curiosity, respect, and without pretension.

Today, Dos Cuerpos is evolving beyond the tasting. Mezcal and wine remain at the heart of what we know and love, while the world around them continues to grow into Mexican beverages, gastronomy, traditions, workshops, music, objects, and new ways of gathering.

In February 2027, Dos Cuerpos opens its new home in Roma Norte: a tasting room, showroom, and living room designed as a space to pause, connect, discover, and feel at home. But Dos Cuerpos is not bound to one place. We continue to create experiences and moving with them. Always guided by the same belief: a truly good experience stays with you. In something you discovered, something you treasure, and the way it makes you feel alive.

Cecilia is the founder and heart behind Dos Cuerpos. Driven by a deep passion for hospitality, she brings together her knowledge of mezcal and Mexican culture with the instinct for curating, and bringing people together. From the producers she works with to the smallest detail of an experience, Cecilia is involved in creating a world that feels personal, thoughtful, generous, and always worth sharing.

Naoki is the experiences chef, bringing a thoughtful and refined culinary approach to the project. His cuisine is rooted in technique, balance, and respect for ingredients, creating menus that complement and elevate wine and mezcal pairings within the context of contemporary Mexican gastronomy. Through intimate dinners and special collaborations, he emphasizes process and storytelling, shaping the gastronomic identity of Dos Cuerpos.

Sofía supports Dos Cuerpos across sales and public relations, while also hosting tastings and select services. She plays an important role in building relationships with clients and collaborators, helping communicate the Dos Cuerpos concept and ensuring each experience is handled with care, clarity, and attention to detail.
